GIMBER cancels Dry January & Tournée Minéral!

GIMBER cancels Dry January & Tournée Minéral!

Dry January & Tournée Minérale are out... Sober Curious is in!

At GIMBER, we believe real change isn’t about short-term challenges, it’s about creating healthy habits that last. That’s why we’re saying no to Dry January & Tournée Minéral and are fully supporting the Sober Curious Movement. We’re not here to push you to go completely dry, we just want to inspire you to make mindful choices when having a drink. Forget the pressure and the all-or-nothing mindset.

It’s time to build a healthier lifestyle and rediscover Your Natural Kick.

At the start of every year, alcohol-free challenges become increasingly popular. Dry January in January, Tournée Minérale in February... and then, often, it's back to old habits. What if real change wasn't about a single month, but about a more conscious and sustainable approach?

That's exactly what the Sober Curious movement is all about: rethinking our relationship with alcohol, without pressure, without extremes, and above all, without guilt. We're not here to push you to stop drinking completely, we simply want to encourage you to make conscious choices when you do drink alcohol. Forget the pressure and the “all or nothing” mindset.

At GIMBER, this philosophy echoes a strong belief: creating healthy habits that last, rather than following one-off challenges. It's time to adopt a healthier lifestyle and rediscover your natural kick.

What is the Tournée Minérale?

The Tournée Minérale is an annual challenge that encourages people not to drink alcohol throughout the month of February. Launched in Belgium in 2017, it was initiated by the

Fondation contre le Cancer* (Cancer Foundation) and is now run in French-speaking Belgium by Univers Santé.

Unlike a strict ban, the Tournée Minérale is intended to be a positive, voluntary experience, with the primary goal of raising awareness about the effects of alcohol on health.

The Tournée Minérale is mainly about:

● Taking a 28-day break from alcohol to improve your well-being, sleep, energy levels, and finances.

● A Belgian initiative born out of a growing awareness of alcohol consumption and inspired by voluntary reduction movements.

● More than 80% of participants report feeling positive effects: better sleep, more energy, better concentration, and sometimes healthier skin.

● La Tournée Minérale encourages people to discover alternative non-alcoholic drinks: mocktails, flavored waters, herbal teas, and ginger-based drinks.

Every year, this challenge brings together hundreds of thousands of participants, who take advantage of February to take a step back and reflect on their relationship with alcohol.

The Mineral Tour in February: a springboard, not an end

La Tournée Minérale, which is very popular in Belgium and growing rapidly in France, particularly in the north, is often seen as a temporary effort. But for many, February becomes a key moment because awareness becomes clearer. By choosing to swap for a non-alcoholic drink, you will find:

● more energy

● greater mental clarity

● improved sleep

● easier digestion

● a desire to prolong these benefits

● a healthier relationship with social pressure

Sober Curious aims to turn this experience into a habit, without setting an end date. By replacing some alcoholic drinks with high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives, you also reduce the negative effects associated with regular consumption. Ginger is known for its many therapeutic properties. Rich in antioxidants, it promotes digestive well-being, strengthens immunity, and promotes good blood circulation. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties and its

ability to combat oxidative stress, it soothes muscle pain and improves concentration.

A powerful root for the body and mind!
