Ginger tea recipe: all your questions answered
What is the difference between GIMBER Hottie and classic ginger tea?
GIMBER Hottie uses a ready-made organic ginger concentrate, which makes it much quicker (3 mins vs 15 mins) and guarantees a consistent flavour. GIMBER also contains lemon, herb sand spices for a more complex flavour than a simple ginger tea.
Can you drink hot GIMBER every day?
Yes! GIMBER hot water and ginger is an excellent daily drink, especially in winter. Ginger has many anti-inflammatory and digestive benefits.
Does GIMBER Hottie really help with colds?
Ginger has recognised anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
Combined with honey and lemon, this ginger tea can help relieve cold symptoms, soothe the throat and strengthen the immune system.
Can you prepare several cups of hot GIMBER in advance?
It is best to prepare each cup individually to preserve the aromas. However, you can prepare a large teapot by multiplying the quantities (ratio 1:7-8).
How much ginger does GIMBER contain?
GIMBER is a concentrated organic ginger extract. 20ml of GIMBER contains the equivalent of several grams of fresh ginger, plus lemon, herbs and spices.
Is GIMBER Hottie suitable for children?
Yes, it is a non-alcoholic drink. For young children, you can dilute it further (15ml GIMBER for 150ml water) as the ginger can be a little strong.
Can milk be added to this hot GIMBER recipe?
Absolutely! Add 30-50ml of plant-based milk (almond, oat, coconut) to create a creamy and comforting GIMBER Latte, reminiscent of traditional grogs.
