Ingredients:

  • 750ml (1 bottle) of red wine (preferably fruity and low in tannins)
  • 100ml of GIMBER N°1 Original
  • 100ml of sugar cane syrup (use less if you prefer it less sweet)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 sliced orange (organic or thoroughly washed!)
  • 1 star anise

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR GIMBER MULLED WINE?

Step by Step

Preparing the Ingredients

Start by washing the orange thoroughly, especially if it's not organic, and slice it into thin rounds.
Gather all the other ingredients within reach.

Base Mixture

In a large pot, combine the red wine, GIMBER, and sugar cane syrup.
Stir gently until the syrup is fully dissolved into the wine.

Adding Spices and Orange

Add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, orange slices, and star anise to the pot.
Stir gently, ensuring the spices and orange slices are well soaked in the mixture.

Heat and Enjoy

Place the pot on low heat and let the mixture warm up slowly, ensuring it doesn't come to a boil.
Once the wine is warm, remove from heat, strain to remove the spices, and serve in mugs.
